With two recent executive appointments, Lightning Broadband now has local representation for its superfast residential and commercial development connectivity solutions across the entire east coast of Australia.
Mark Johnston - New South Wales
Melbourne-headquartered Lightning Broadband has appointed Mark Johnston as its New South Wales Business Development Manager.
Mr. Johnston is a highly experienced Information Technology and Telecommunications sales and operational leader with an extensive background in companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 organisations. He is also currently an Executive Council member of CompTIA, the voice of the world’s information technology industry.
Matt Gilbert - Queensland
Lightning Broadband recently established an office in Queensland on the Gold Coast at Varsity Lakes, from which it will service all of the state. The branch is being run by Matt Gilbert, another new face at the company.
Mr. Gilbert was previously a Business Development Manager for an independent telecommunications carrier specialising in Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) networks for residential and business developments - and he's hit the ground running.
"We've had significant interest from New South Wales and Queensland for our connectivity solutions," said Lightning Broadband CEO Jeremy Rich. "We're very pleased to have Mark and Matt on board as local and expert representation to look after developer inquiries and manage projects in their respective states."
Better Building Broadband And Beyond
Lightning Broadband is independent of the NBN. Since it commenced operations in Victoria in 2016, the company has successfully executed dozens of significant commercial and apartment building projects; all underpinned by its in-house developed communications infrastructure that provides superb reliability and superfast symmetrical speeds.
Lightning Broadband can also design and implement internal telephony and networks associated with building management systems; including security and climate control functions.
In addition to apartment and commercial buildings, Lightning Broadband is also expanding into large-scale broad-acre residential housing estate projects and commercial/industrial business parks.
