For more than 40 years, the Birner name has been synonymous with Melbourne’s property market and has an enviable reputation in agency practice.
An honours graduate from Melbourne University and a licensed real estate agent, Daniel continued the family tradition through his property development activities.
His passion for the business, eye for detail and understanding of the market have proven to be the perfect blend, helping shape Lightning Broadband’s connectivity offerings and delivery of major residential and commercial projects.

WHY DID YOU START LIGHTNING BROADBAND?
Coming from property development background, I appreciated the opportunity to offer a unique value to the market; combining not only savings for developers, but also superior broadband and smart building services to residents and tenants.

WHERE’S YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE IN MELBOURNE?
Elwood, because of the great village vibe and everyone always seems happy and healthy. It’s walking distance from my home, so I can enjoy the beach with my family and of course the dog park is great for Teddy! The Combi cafe is one of the best in Melbourne, with an amazing variety of healthy foods.
